Nonna stella carries out the traditional year round agricultural activity, especially vegetable cultivation. The guests can also help with the different stages of cultivation, and in particular the harvesting of the crops. The guests will be able to pick directly, with the advice of the agriculturist, the vegetables and the fruits that they wish to consume. The structure is provided with a common kitchen, where it is possible to accommodate anyone wishing to spend a holiday in direct contact with the life and the atmosphere of the Tuscan countryside. This however does non exclude a holiday on the seaside and a visit to the famous Tuscan art cities. At Nonna Stella you are free to organize your holiday according to your necessities. In fact, we offer half board treatment, but you can also use the kitchen for preparing your meals by yourself; there is a shared area where the guests will be able to prepare and eat breakfast; it will also be used for the preparation and the tasting of farm and other typical local products. This room also gives access to the veranda which is well equipped with tables and chairs in order to eat breakfast in the open air.All the building is equipped with a central heating system.

The rooms are all very large, are furnished with double and bunk bed, a wardrobe, a small writing-desk, TV and a fridge. From each room it is possible to access the private bathroom. There are two rooms which have the availablity of a terrace. The ground floor room has been provided with good access and a modified bathroom to suit disabled visitors.

At just 4 Km. from the sea, with a view to the Tuscan hills behind, it is possible to catch a glimpse of the villages of Guardistallo, Casale Marittimo, Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci. At about 4 km. from the farm there are the beaches and the pinewood of "Marina di Bibbona", awarded with the EC’s Blu Flag for seawater quality. Moreover the other localities of the Etruschi coast like San Vincenzo, Cecina, Vada, Castiglioncello are quickly accessible. From Piombino, at about 30 Km. is possible to take the ferry-boat to the Island of Elba and for the other islands of the tuscan archipelago, also for other daily excursions.
